The Reebok Forever Floatride GROW is here to save the planet. Sustainability is one of the hottest topics of the last few years – understandably so as the single-use plastic epidemic is worse than ever and pollution is posing an threat to our air quality – and sportswear brands are starting to re-design their products to be more environmentally friendly. With adidas recently debuting a recycling scheme and Nike making football kits from recycled plastics, Reebok is upping its game with a brand new, sustainably made running shoe.
Naturally biodegradable and sustainably sourced, the breathable upper on the Forever Floatride GROW is made from eucalyptus tree fibres and the sockliner (which is naturally odour-busting btw) uses BLOOM algae foam. The cushioned midsole is built from castor beans which creates delivers high-performance cushioning and the flexible outsole is super durable and comes from real rubber trees.
Designed and crafted to allow Reebok to reduce their use of virgin polyester, the brand aims to eradicate it from their designs completely by 2025. Although this sneaker is made from sustainable materials, the functionality of the shoe is by no means compromised. Designed to extend your run and push you to your new personal best in supreme comfort, we promise they’ll be your new favourite pair.
Due to be released in Autumn 2020, keep it locked into The Sole Supplier to be the first to know when more news breaks about the Reebok Forever Floatride GROW.
