If there's one trend that we can;t get enough of at the moment, it's animal print. And it's everywhere. From the Nike Air Max 97 Black Leopard Pack, to the Vans Sk8 Hi Animal Print sneaker, no print is off limits and no texture is too much.
That's why we're super excited about this collab between Caliroots and Diemme – an Italian designer footwear brand. The 'Different Animal' drop comes as the 5th collaboration between the two brands – but this has got to be their wildest collab yet.
Here we have an oversized, chunky runner that's dressed in a whole host of prints and colours. Fashioned from a 100% Calfhair and leather upper, we can see leopard print clashing with zebra print, with black and nude sections to draw it all together. We're loving the contrasting aesthetic that the clashing prints give – they feel rough and ready to go!
There's even more contrast up top, with has hiker style bright orange laces and silver eyelet hardware we'd usually find on walking boots. You're definitely going to feel snug and secure rocking these all day. What's more, the midsole is crafted with Vibram Rolling Gait System, which is proven to reduce muscle tiredness in your feet. In other words – these are so comfy, you'll forget you're even wearing shoes!
The oversized sole unit means you'll bang on trend rocking these…. we don't think dad shoes will ever go out of fashion! We'll be styling these with wide leg culottes and a utility vest, accessorising with a bucket hat and a side bag – super chic!
The Caliroots x Diemme 'Different Animal' is available to purchase now from Caliroots online store. We don't think these are going to be around for long, so cop then while you can!
