After the first images returned from NASA's James Webb Space Telescope last month, we think it would be fair to say the internet is pretty enthusiastic about our solar system at the moment. Now, NASA's next big milestone is set to happen under the agency's ambitious Artemis programme, and GOLF WANG x Oxcart Assembly have come together to outfit the team.
For the unaware, the Artemis programme is a series of planned space events that aim to land both men and women back on the moon, develop a basecamp and eventually send mankind to mars. In celebration of the now delayed first mission launch, Tyler the Creator's GOLF WANG and creative agency Oxcart Assembly have produced a selection of apparel, footwear and accessories.
The collection itself showcases a retro-meets-modern approach to styling with classic silhouettes displaying futuristic or modernised prints, patterns and designs. Included, along with the apparel and accessories, we also see a pair of Converse Chuck '70s, complete with a vibrant gradient atop a blue midsole.
The full selection will be worn by the NASA on-air Artemis Mission team but will also be released to the general public at some point in the near future. In other news, is a new Supreme x Rolex collaboration on the way?
