2021 has seen Nike and Jordan Brand shift a huge focus onto the legendary Air Jordan 3 for the first time in a while, and we’re absolutely here for it! As the latest move in this trend, the Swoosh has now unveiled official images and a release date for the Air Jordan 3 “Racer Blue”. Showing off a retro-inspired colourway, the pair appear visually similar to the UNC iteration that launched a few months ago, although with a slightly different hue.
The uppers are crafted from premium tumbled leather throughout for a real premium appearance, while white, blue and Nike’s signature elephant print in grey from the colour-blocking. An embroidered Jumpman logo is located at the tongue along with a Jumpman and Air logo featured on each heel tab. A neat lacing system and ample padding around the ankles round off the uppers.
Underfoot, a white and blue midsole conceals plenty of cushioning and a visible Nike Air unit under the heel, making these more than comfortable for everyday wear. Whether you’re a seasoned Air Jordan 3 collector or new to the game, these are most definitely worthy of a place in your ever-growing sneaker collection!
The Nike Air Jordan 3 “Racer Blue” is currently slated to launch on July 10th 2021, although this is subject to changes which are commonplace currently.
