Grab Your First Real Look at the Off-White x Air Jordan 2 Low

Towards the end of last week we reported on the rumours that an Off-White x Air Jordan 2 Low was in the works, and now as we roll into the new week we have even further developments regarding the story. While previously only mock-ups accompanied the rumours, we now have in-hand images from several different sources. Not only this, it seems that there’s now a second colourway set to hit the market.

Pictured above is the “White/Red” version that featured in the mock-ups alongside a brand-new “Black/Blue” variant that’s sporting vibrant pink laces. The Air Jordan 2 is definitely one of the lesser-seen Jordan variants, so it’s certainly an interesting one for Virgil Abloh to decide to pursue.

A closer look at the “White/Red” pair showcases that they’re set to be crafted from pebbled leather across the uppers, with aged-white details adding a vintage feel to the pair. Michael Jordan’s signature is etched across the lateral sides which once again points to retro vibes. This is only increased as we head down the shoe, looking to the midsole which presents a pre-cracked look, similar to the effect seen on vintage Jordan’s.

It’s clear that Abloh is opting for a pre-distressed and vintage feel, although this will definitely be one that divides opinions across the sneaker community.
