Hello Kitty and adidas Originals Team Up for Three Playful Designs

Hello Kitty, one of the most iconic cartoon characters from the Japanese imprint Sanrio, has emerged in numerous collaborations over the last year, most recently with Nike. This time, the fictional cat is reuniting with the Three Stripes for a trio of playful footwear designs.

Arriving under adidas' fashion and lifestyle division, the Hello Kitty x adidas Originals offers the Superstar, Forum Low, and Astir in three Hello Kitty-themed colourways.

The German sportswear label's legendary shell-toe sneakers from 1969, the adidas Superstar, are unquestionably the helm of this collaboration. Featuring a white leather base with contrasting red shoelaces, black-and-white polka dots on the heel tabs, pink Trefoil branding, and the top of Hello Kitty's head decorating the lateral heels. The adidas Forum and adidas Astir follow the theme similarly, depicting the titular character in their own ways. A special Hello Kitty shoebox and a hang tag finalise the covetable ensemble.
