Hender Scheme is no stranger when it comes to reworking iconic adidas silhouettes. Be it the legendary NMD R1 or the classic ZX 500 RM, they've pretty much done it all, and for its next project, they'll giving the Sobakov as well as the Lacombe a luxe makeover, and we're beyond hyped!
Crafted by hand in designer Ryo Kashiwazaki's atelier, the Hender Scheme x adidas Spring Summer 2019 collection keeps in line with the Japanese brand's usual oeuvre. The Sobakov boasts a two-way leather shroud, a tough mesh exterior, and a durable gum rubber sole that pays homage to the Beautiful Game.
On the other hand, the Lacombe features hand-punched broguing near the toe, leather ribbons woven through the sides, and vegetable-tanned panels at the tongue and heel. Both sneakers will drop in two distinct colourways and will pretty much retain the same shape and branding, with a few luxe gold foil accents here and there.
Set to drop on April 26th, the Hender Scheme x adidas Spring Summer 2019 collection will be a must cop for any sneaker collection! Which pair would you cop? Let us know, and while you're here, be sure to take a look at the full adidas sneaker range!
