When it comes to heritage, no one leans further into their roots than the Jordan Brand. Many of their earliest pairs have gone on to become some of the most iconic sneaker releases ever, and retro releases of their star sneakers always fly off the shelves. Now, Jordan are set to pay tribute to a previously unreleased pair of Air Jordan 1s from years ago, in the Air Jordan 1 “Heritage White Bred”. Official images of the latest shoe to join the 2022 AJ1 line-up have now surfaced, so let's take a closer look at them.
Following a similar colour blocking scheme to Travis Scott’s fragment Jordan, and an even earlier “Reverse Royal” sample, the “Heritage White Bred” celebrates the AJ1s roots in a white, black and red colour palette, similar to that seen on the Jordan 1 “Chicago.”
The images show the “Heritage” AJ1 to be made up of a predominantly white base, with touches of red dressing the toe box, Swoosh, heel and ankle flaps and black accents appearing at the laces and collar. Underfoot, a white midsole is dipped into a red outsole to round off the colourway.
The “Heritage” Nike Air Jordan 1 is rumoured to be releasing on April 9th 2022, so click the links above to set your release reminders as get notified as soon as they drop!
Up next, the Air Jordan 1 Mid gets a multi-coloured makeover.
