Back in April, we reported that the legendary Nike Air Max 1 Powerwall "Lemonade" was getting a re-release this year. Originally launched as part of the 2016's "Powerwall Pack", it's regarded by many as Tinker Hatfield's greatest creation, and now, we're getting a brief glimpse at what's to come!
Images courtesy of sneaker insider @solebyjc, the "Lemonade" more or less retains the original design but with a few subtle tweaks here and there. With a leather and mesh construction that's still as luxe as ever, it's painted in a soft yellow hue with funky "Air" graphics peppered throughout.
Premium nubuck mudguards surround the shoe, and it wouldn't be the "Lemonade" without the signature "Pine Green" laces that tie everything together. For this release, the tongue has been updated to show the cross section of a lemon, while the insole has also been decorated with images of the fan favourite fruit, finalising the iconic Air Max 1 design.
Expected to drop alongside the "Pine Green" and "Pink Lemonade" at the end of 2020, the Nike Air Max 1 Powerwall "Lemonade" is rumoured to be extremely limited, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier if you want a pair! Let us know what you think of this re-release, and in related news, the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 "Kiss Of Death" is returning in three colourways!
