Working on top of the JFG-approved 9060 model, the duo keeps things simple by sticking to a fairly neutral colour palette, though barely-there hints of green and blue add small pops of colour and dimension. A mix of hairy and short suede overlays work their way across the uppers, leaving grey jumbo mesh panels to peek out from underneath. From here, fuzzy laces add a fun juxtaposition against the aggressive mesh.
Underfoot, the style’s exaggerated midsole unit arrives in cream tones. However, these give way to splashes of green in reference to the lawn outside of Bricks & Wood co-founder Kacey Lynch’s childhood home, which just so happens to form the campaign backdrop. Having taken to Instagram to reveal the inspiration behind the collaboration, Lynch said that the shoe serves as a reminder of where we come from. It read: “Please remember that no matter how far you go, it’s just a change of address. Nothing about you changes.”
