When Jordan Brand took the wraps off their Spring 2021 Retro Collection at the end of last year, all eyes were on the Air Jordan 4 "University Blue". One of the boldest and best AJ4s to release in the silhouette's thirty year-long history, sneakerheads everywhere were drooling over the shoe, and now, we finally have a confirmed release date thanks to insider @py_rates!
Decked out in a genuine suede construction that's literally as buttery as it gets, the "University Blue" gives us serious "UNC" vibes. Dipped in a light blue hue, "Tech Grey" elements make their way throughout for a subtle yet striking contrast, and these are decorated with a black paint splatter effect that adds depth to the overall Air Jordan 4 design. Mesh panelling hits the side panels for breathability, and the heel features a the fan-like pull tab that offers up a classic aesthetic.
Down below, you'll find a Nike Air midsole that's as comfortable as ever, and of course, you can't talk about this sneaker without mentioning the oversized jock tag that is stitched onto the tongue, rounding off the legendary design.
Now for that all-important release date. Previous rumours suggested that the Nike Air Jordan 4 SE "University Blue" will launch sometime in March Madness, but to be more specific, March 30th is the date to remember if you want to cop a pair of these. Dropping alongside grade school sizing, let us know if you'll be copping these, and in related news, the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 "Bred" is finally releasing this year!
