This is it, chief. After getting our first glimpse back in the summer of 2019 during Virgil Abloh's Figures of Speech exhibition at MCA Chicago, it looks like the hotly anticipated Off-White x Air Jordan 4 "Bred" is finally releasing later this year. Regarded by many sneakerheads as the best Off-White x Nike shoe in existence, these were originally supposed to drop at the end of 2020 but we're not really surprised they didn't release judging by the crazy amount of delays that hit the industry last year.
A stealthy take on the "White", Abloh's second Air Jordan 4 is based off the iconic "Black Red" colour palette and features an ultra premium construction. With buttery soft suede descending upon the uppers, you'll also find classic mesh panelling across the lateral and medial side panels, followed by see-through rubber eyestays that give the AJ4 that signature deconstructed aesthetic that Off-White is renowned for.
Speaking of which, the Nike Air midsole is decorated with "AIR" text. This is housed within a translucent grey unit and accented with cream and red tones for a vintage-inspired look that is made to turn heads. Rounding it all off is the legendary Jumpman motif that's stamped onto the tongue, finalising the design.
According to a range of reputable sources, the Off-White x Nike Air Jordan 4 "Bred" will be launching sometime this autumn. Let us know what you think of this colourway, and while you're here, you might as well take your first look at the Off-White x Nike Dunk Low "Black"!
