Back in 2020, Kanye West made his foray into the competitive world of basketball sneakers with the introduction of the QNTM. Made to compete directly with silhouettes such as the Air Jordan 1 and the Air Jordan 4, the hype surrounding this court-inspired model was off the charts. Now, as we head towards the end of 2021, Ye has unleashed the Yeezy Basketball Knit "Slate Blue" - and we're going to let you know what the best way is to cop this release!
Borrowing elements from various Yeezy models, the "3D Slate Blue" takes its Primeknit upper from the 350 V2, more specifically, the newly-announced CMPCT "Slate Blue". The stretchy knit collar harkens back to the 450, and while the official images shown below make it look quite stiff and structured, it's actually very flexible and versatile so it doesn't strangle your legs. This means it's perfect for both the basketball court and everyday wear.
Shifting your focus down below and you'll find an adidas Boost midsole that seems to take elements from the 380. Of course, you can't talk about the Basketball without mentioning the 3M reflective heel that's a Quantum staple, finalising the design.
If you want the adidas Yeezy BSKTBL KNIT "3D Slate Blue" in your personal collection then you need to enter the raffle on adidas CONFIRMED right now. Currently live until December 16th, you'll get these just before Christmas so get your entry in before it's too late! Let us know if you'll be grabbing a pair of these, and while you're here, here's your best chance to cop the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Beluga RF"!
