Here's Your First Look at the Gucci x adidas Gazelle Collection

Last Friday, adidas took the sneaker world by storm by officially announcing their collaboration with Gucci. A rumour that we first reported on all the way back in June of last year, the full collection was finally unveiled eight months later during the Italian fashion house's Fall 2022 runway showcase. While it was pretty hard to see what sneaker options were available, we're now getting up close at the full Gucci x adidas Gazelle range thanks to these brand new shots from @outpumpsneakers!

Keeping inline with what the German giant did with Prada, they've taken one classic silhouette and giving it the full luxury treatment. Spotted here in six colourways, each one boasts a selection of different materials and patterns. The first pair that we've shown off here is done up in an earthy brown palette complete with Alessandro Michele's signature "G" monogram, while other options make use of faux snakeskin uppers that add an even more premium look and feel.

Of course, you can't talk about this Gazelle collab without mentioning the crisp white pair that's accented with green and red striping across the lateral and medial side panels. Every single pair is printed with co-branded detailing around the heel and insole, and replace the usual adidas logo on the midsole with Gucci alongside a single Trefoil. They'll also all arrive in a special edition shoebox that's definitely one for the collectors.

Pretty much nothing else is known about the adidas x Gucci Gazelle collaboration at this moment in time, but some reports are suggesting that there won't be any "default" colourways to choose from. Potential buyers will actually be able to create their own pairs similar to the beloved miadidas platform from years back.
