Hit the Slopes in Style With This Burton x Virgil Abloh Snowboarding Collection

While a lot has been documented about the late and great Virgil Abloh's life, few know that the designer actually grew up snowboarding in his youth. This same connection led him to visit the Burton headquarters back in 2017 to co-create a women's collection, but in 2020 Burton and Virgil connected once more to pursue future projects.

Now, following an auction last week for the Virgil Abloh "Post-Modern" scholarship Fund, Burton has released the full Virgil Abloh snowboarding collection online. According to Adrian Josef Margelist, Chief Creative Officer at Burton, “It was very important to Virgil that his next collaboration with Burton stands for something, that it shares a larger message, so he created a manifesto to guide the collection."

Included within this latest collection we see two camber snowboards, Photon Boa Boots and Genesis EST Bindings, all of which arrive in a selection of show-stopping colourways. The boots even arrive with heat modal lining and durable Vibram outsoles for ultimate comfort when on the slopes.
