There is absolutely no doubt in any sneakerhead's mind that the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 and Travis Scott x Nike Air Trainer 1 are some of the most anticipated collaborations of the entire year. When they first leaked all the way back in May 2021, we wanted to cop pretty much immediately. Over a year later and La Flame's latest and greatest sneakers are finally inbound, and to say that we're beyond hyped is a true understatement in itself.
If you want to cop the AM1 and AT1 as much as we do, then we've got your back. Set to finally drop on May 27th, it's safe to assume that these Nikes will sell out within seconds. With that said, we've compiled a few tips and tricks on how you can maximise your chances of getting a W next month!
Some of the most creative and unique sneakers to drop this year, Travis' Air Max will launch in "Baroque Brown" and "Saturn Gold" palettes, while his Air Trainer also gets the "Baroque Brown" treatment and will also launch in a "Grey Haze" option. Both pairs completely rework their respective models, with the former decorated with camping-inspired elements and a controversial blocked-out Air bubble.
The latter, on the other hand, comes bolstered with secret stash pockets around the tongue and heel, and it's also compatible with a waterproof shroud which makes it perfect for all-year-round wear.
If you're reading this, chances are that you desperately need the Cactus Jack Air Max 1 and Air Trainer 1 in your life. If that sounds a bit like you, then the first thing that you need to do is follow us over on Twitter. By following @thesolesupplier, we'll update you on the latest news surrounding the release, while @thesolerestocks will keep you locked in with direct links and potential restock information as well.
No raffles are live just yet, but when they do launch you'll find them in the "Raffles" section of our site. We predict that there won't be too many, so to increase your chances you can try and enter with multiple accounts. With that said, it's worth noting that some retailers will take money off you first so make sure you have enough cash in the bank. This is a completely normal procedure and it's been implemented to prevent bots from applying too many times.
If you didn't already know, the Nike x Travis Scott Air Max 1 and Nike x Travis Scott Air Trainer 1 will be launching at 8am on May 27th through Nike SNKRS, so don't forget to set your alarms and mark your calendars. While they are expected to drop via a 15 minute draw, this could be subject to change so make sure you hold tight. If you want to increase your chances of getting a W, you can also borrow a friend or family member's phone to try your luck!
If there's one thing that we just can't stress enough, it's how important it is to have all your payment and address info saved and verified. Better yet, let your bank know that it's actually you who's making the transaction just so they don't put it on hold. While it's going to be particularly hard to get them on the phone especially at a crazy time like this, banks have been known to block transactions that they deem suspicious. We've all been there and it's not a good place to be.
If at this stage you still haven't copped, don't worry, as we've got another pretty good tip for you. Load up that IG app right now and follow every single retailer that sold the "Baroque Brown", "Saturn Gold", "Baroque Brown", and "Grey Haze" as they're known to re-raffle unclaimed pairs. This happens with the majority of hyped drops, so there's a huge chance that you'll be able to cop here.
If that doesn't work out, then you've got two more options. You can either go on StockX and get a pair sent straight to your door, or head on over to The Sole Supplier's dedicated Buy & Sell Group on Facebook where you can buy, sell, and even exchange trainers for the pair you want. You probably won't get them for retail here but we've got some pretty good and honest members so don't be surprised if you do.
And that's that! If you follow every single one of these steps, you've got a pretty good chance of copping the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 "Baroque Brown" and "Saturn Gold" and Travis Scott x Nike Air Trainer 1 "Baroque Brown" and "Grey Haze" on May 27th! Make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for your best chance to cop, and if you're not sure what size to get, take a look at The Sole Supplier's Nike Air Max 1 size guide and Nike Air Trainer 1 size guide here!
