How to List a Product on Sole Market

Regardless of whether you’ve got a pair of sneakers collecting dust at the back of your wardrobe, or you just got lucky in all the raffles you entered this time around, either way you’ve got some deadstock sneakers to sell. Lucky for you, our brand-new reselling platform, Sole Market, is the place for you. With authentication included, quick shipping and even quicker payment, you don’t need to upload your sneakers anywhere else. The first thing you need to do is either create an account or log in. Then you can head over to our Sole Market hub page and select the option to register as a seller. This will give you access to the Sole Market and also gives you access to helpful tools such as the seller dashboard and recommended pricing for products.

Once you are registered you will be taken straight into the listing process.

To make sure you list the right product we have a handy search tool to help you find the sneaker you're looking to sell. You can enter either the product name or style code to search for your sneaker. Select the correct pair from the search results. The style code must match.

If nothing is appearing for your search, get in touch with us using the button at the bottom. You can then use the contact form at the top of the next page to let us know what we’re missing.

Once you have selected the correct product, click the size. This must be the UK size. Do NOT click the US size. You can find all the details on the sneaker box.

Now for the best bit: how much would you like to sell them for? To help you set the best price, where available we will display the latest listing and sales data from other sellers on Sole Market and other platforms. Our automatic calculator will also show you how much you’ll end up with after commission and a payment processing fee.

Next you will need to select which level of delivery service is required. There are two levels of loss and damage protection, so select the service which suits the value of your product. These charges will go directly towards the shipping costs. Sole Market currently works exclusively with UPS; when your item sells a label will be produced for you so all you need to do is print it out.

When you’re happy, now its time to take some photos!

To ensure authenticity, we need the best look at your sneakers as possible. For your first listing we require these before your sneaker can be added to site, however after your first listing is approved you can upload your photos after they are sold.

We require at least seven photos from different angles. You must also follow the guidelines:

There is also the option to add further images. For example, if your pair comes with additional accessories, such as laces or a chain. As it stands, all images must show that the pair are completely brand new and unworn.

After that you can either add another shoe you want to list or continue to the final step.

Make sure you double check your listing before submitting. If you notice an error, make sure you change it or your listing may be rejected.

Before you finalise and submit your listing, make sure you read the terms at the bottom of the page. You must be ready to sell the item immediately, as once a buyer has purchased you will need to ship via our UPS provided service within 24 hours.

Once you’re happy and ready, click ‘Submit listing’. When we have approved your listing, your product will be automatically added to Sole Market.

If this is your very first listing on Sole Market, you will be asked to complete our seller verification. This is so we can be sure of who our buyers and sellers are, but more importantly, so we know where to send your payments to! You'll see some tips on how to pass verification before you start.
