In Review: The Size? 2023 Previews Event Shared a Wealth of Company Exclusives

Anyone familiar with UK retailer Size? will know some of its exclusive releases remain highly revered amongst the sneaker community, and with the second half of 2023 underway, it seems like there are some big launches ahead.

Just last night, The Sole Supplier gang attended the Size? Previews 2023 event where the company treated attendees to a showcase of all of its upcoming collaborations. So without further ado, let's get into some of the biggest heavy hitters from the event.

Arguably the star of the show, this latest Nike Air Max 1 silhouette simply commanded the attention of most of the guests. Building upon the regular construction of the famed Swoosh brand silhouette, several brown hues work in unison to produce a fresh colourway that's about as clean as they come.

Atop the stock AM1 sole, a mix of quality materials makes up the uppers. What looks to be a brown corduroy decorates the lowest exterior panel, giving way to a different coloured brown suede on the toe box and heel collar. Elsewhere, a tumbled white leather acts as a base for a dark brown Swoosh. No other details are currently available regarding this pair, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled in the upcoming months!

Up next we have a fresh version of New Balance's crowd favourite 990v3 silhouette. Arriving as part of the brand's quality Made in USA line, the New Balance 990v3 "Orange/Cream" embraces a rich colour palette and exudes summer style.

Atop an ENCAP midsole, a mix of suede and mesh uppers delivers an elevated aesthetic. Largely embracing warm tones, Size?'s emblematic orange tint can be seen on the tongue logo, eyelets, and a portion of the midsole. Elsewhere, hints of beige, cream and brown are also featured, tying things together in unison.

Leaving the crowd somewhat divided was this latest version of New Balance's 1906R silhouette. Having seen a boom in popularity in recent times, partially thanks to its "Protection Pack" reworks, the 1906R has now taken on a new style, building upon the shoe's retro roots.

Atop its grey ABZORB-enhanced midsole, an interesting amalgamation of green hues and layers takes shape. At the base of things, a grass-like suede catches the eye, giving way to its dark grey leather overlays. Near the toe box, these same leather overlays then take on an aquamarine-type hue, with the same colour extending to the tongue.
