We’re always welcoming of a new take on the Jordan 1, and now it seems that Jordan Brand have really outdone themselves here with a super-clean take on the Jordan 1 Mid. Finding a new way to remix the silhouette, the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Inside Out” actually has some Off-White vibes going on, thanks to its inside-out aesthetic and deconstructed detailing.
Inspired by the “colourless” palette of the inside of a sneaker, the “Inside Out” Jordan Mid comes dressed in a toned-down white and grey colourway. A white base makes up the majority of the shoe, whilst tonal grey suede in light and dark shades appears on the overlays and heels. The “Inside Out” theme also sees the construction remixed to feature a toe box that sits on top of the toe cap, and under-side suede detailing on the heel, as well as exposed foam collars and tongues to give the sneaker an extra edge.
Switching things up even further, the shoe combines details for the AJ1 Mid and AJ1 Low, so the Jordan Wings insignia appears on the ankle. The “Inside Out” AJ1 theme also sees exposed stitching highlighting the fabric Nike Swoosh, with the number 23 signified in minimal orange stitches. The “Inside Out” AJ1 Mids are finished with a white midsole that comes dipped in a grey outsole to round off the minimalist colourway.
We’re still awaiting any release info for the “Inside Out” Nike Air Jordan 1 Mid, but thanks to their unique detailing we definitely think that this’ll be one of the most sought-after colourways yet.
