Aleali May's longstanding partnership with the Swoosh brand just continues to throw all other collaborations out of the water. After putting the Air Jordan 14 back on the map, May has been working on her next Jumpman collaboration, but this time it's a family-and-friends exclusive which pays tribute to her father and says thank you to veterans from across the US.
Decked out in sturdy, hardwearing canvas, which comes in a camouflage print matching that of the US military's uniform, the Air Jordan 4 pays homage to Veterans Day perfectly. Take a look at Aleali's official unveiling on Instagram below.

Like other AJ4s, this desert-printed pair keeps the usual mesh detailing around the lace unit and sidewalls, but swaps the "Flight" insignia at the top of the tongue for velcro patches. These link to Mr. May's time in the military, which was from 1990 to 2013! A Jumpman remains on the heel tab, however.
The usual Air technology unit sits within a sand-coloured midsole, corresponding to the TPU triangles and mesh detailing around the laces. Cushioning around the ankle makes for a comfortable sneaker, and when we peek further inside, we can spy a bright purple, quilted insole that's dressed with Aleali May's recognisable "A" logo.
Unfortunately, it has been made extremely clear that the Aleali May x Air Jordan 4 "Veteran's Day" PE will be strictly friends and family only.
