Stylist and famed sneaker designer, Aleali May, has teamed up with Air Jordan to commemorate veterans, including May’s own dad, in time for Veteran’s Day. Meet the new Aleali May x Jordan 4 Camo.
The base of the upper is in a gridded ripstop nylon with a brown and green camouflage print, playing on the military theme. The gridded pattern repeats on the sand-coloured mesh-and-TPU toe box, the mid-panel windows and the TPU eye stay accents. The midsole is unusually dressed in a sand-coloured suede as is the Jumpman-branded heel panel. The purple quilted insole is adorned with May’s “A” insignia. The tongue labels have the standard “Flight” branding accompanied by a removable “Jumpman compass” Velcro patch.
