When the AJ1 Zoom CMFT first leaked at the end of last year, we honestly weren't too sure that many sneakerheads would like the new silhouette. Fast forward about ten months later and we have officially been proven wrong. Jordan Brand is doing things with this model that physically aren't possible with the conventional AJ1, and a great example of this feat of design is the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT "Gold Laser"!
Unlike any Air Jordan 1 that we've seen before, the "Gold Laser" features an ultra premium construction that is sure to stand the test of time. A bold blue Swoosh shoots across the stark black base, while leather panels at the ankle, heel, and toebox are intricately engraved with a regal motif that gives us serious Art Deco-meets-Wakanda vibes.
Underneath the crisp white Nike Air midsole you'll find an icy blue rubber outsole, and this is complemented by a Zoom-branded tag that is proudly stitched onto the midfoot. Rounding it all off are a duo of tongue tags complete with the legendary Jumpman logo, finalising the design.
A release date has yet to be officially confirmed for the Nike Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT "Gold Laser", but we expect them to drop very soon. Let us know what you think of this crazy design, and in related news, the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 1 High is fit for sneaker royalty!
