A collaboration between the luxe Italian brand Joshua Saunders and IRENEISGOOD (the brand of South Korean influencer Irene Kim) was announced late in 2018, and now, we finally have a release date to look forward to.
The two creative minds have come together to create a collection that combine modern street style with bold, unashamed self expression. The collection is due to drop on the 7th of March and it is everything! It taps into some of the most fun, experimental trends of the moment and we're sure you'll want in too.
The collection consists of three updated colourways to the 90s style Zenith sneakers by Saunders that was released in 2018. If you're a fan of the oversized chunky dad shoe style – think Fila Disruptors or Nike M2K Teknos – the feminine twist of this release could well be up your street.
Working with a clean white leather upper, the sneakers take inspiration from the magical world of unicorns. Holographic metallic strips of teal and purple line the eyestays, wrapping around the sidewalls, while the hiker-style laces look like striped candy canes. A cartoon unicorn motif also sits on the laces, adding even more playfulness and colour to the silhouette.
There's branding from both designers prominently featuring on the silhouette: 'Good For You' – Kim's mantra – is embroidered in pink onto the tongue, while 'Joshuas' appears on the heel.
The sneaker collection also drops alongside a set of #cozy hoodies and sweatpants in a light grey and bright pink – this would look too cute together as a set.
The Irene Kim x Joshua Sanders collab is set to be released on the 7th of March, so keep it locked to The Sole Supplier for updates on where you can cop!
