Following two drops of the Nike Moon – last year and earlier this spring, with campaigns starring Nicholas Chavez and Solange – the French designer is back with Nike for the new Moon Shoe in “Miami”.

First introduced in 1972, the Nike Moon was the first ever Nike prototype – with original pairs becoming ultimate holy grails: one pair sold for £328k at auction in 2019. The shoe, however, never actually hit the market, until Simon Porte Jacquemus discovered the design in the Nike archives. And, now, thanks to Jacquemus we can actually buy and wear the Moon silhouette, which has relaunched this year as part of Nike’s lifestyle range.

The new drop comes in a bright blue and turquoise colourway, featuring a bright blue wrinkled fabric upper with periwinkle suede panels and a turquoise Swoosh made from a textured ostrich leather.
