JJJJound's New PUMA Suede Collaboration is Releasing Exclusively in China

Bursting onto the sneaker scene back in 2020 with a wildly-popular New Balance collaboration, Montreal-based design studio JJJJound has since become a go-to partner for many footwear brands. Now set to team up with PUMA once again, Justin Saunders and co have set to work on the iconic Suede silhouette, decking it out in two colourways. The sneakers are treated to JJJJound’s signature minimalist look, with the tongue branding totally removed, letting PUMA’s Formstrip motif do all the talking. The green rendition clearly depicts a repeating logo pattern printed across the insoles, as well as contrasting navy-blue laces.

On the other hand, the burgundy colourway gives us a clear view of the heel tabs that present gold-stamped JJJJound logos, adding an elevated touch of style to the kicks. Set to release exclusively in China, it’s likely that these sneakers aren’t going to be the easiest to get hold of. Earmarked for launch in FW22, there’s currently no release date set for the JJJJound x PUMA Suede pack, meaning they could well be pushed back into 2023.
