When Virgil Abloh first unveiled "The Ten"; Collection, it was the Air Force 1 that instantly captivated sneakerheads. Of course, that entire collection was quick to sellout last year but even now, that Air Force 1 commands one of the highest resell values of the pack, competing with the Off-White x Jordan 1.
Fast forward twelve months and the collaboration from Nike and Off-White continues to evolve. From a clear-crafted Converse to the more recent Blazer Mid 'Spooky' Pack, it seems this range is more popular than ever before. Plenty more styles are rumoured before the end of the year but the next Off-White x Air Force 1 is arguably the most anticipated.
Up until now, only a handful of leaked images have surfaced for what's being called the Off-White x Air Force 1 'Version 2.0'. Allegedly, a new construct will build on last year's style and it's lack of durability. That original pair featured a unique mesh that once dirtied was near impossible to clean. Thankfully, this follow-up looks to be far more hard-wearing.
The rumours would also suggest a much wider release compared with last year's. Stock numbers won't be quite as limited but given the hype surrounding this launch, it's still expected to sellout quickly. Although neither Virgil Abloh nor Nike is yet to confirm, the Off-White x Air Force 1 'Black' is thought to be launching this November. This time around, adult sizes will release alongside an identical version for kids and toddlers.
