Liam Gallagher and Gary Aspden Link Up On the adidas LG2 SPZL "Bottle Green"

Updated 04/9/23: After early images surfaced just last month, Liam Gallagher and Gary Aspden are gearing up for the release of the Liam Gallagher x adidas Spezial LG2 "Bottle Green". Just over a year after dropping their last joint project, the pair have now prepared a second colourway of Liam's signature silhouette, which draws inspiration from earlier iterations of the adidas Country OG, as well as other retro 3-Stripes models. In the initial Instagram post, Aspden himself teased a September release, and we can now confirm that the model will be touching down at adidas CONFIRMED on the 8th of September. As the terrace trend continues to heat up for 2023, two of the biggest style icons in the game have reunited on a new colourway of LG’s 2022 LG2 SPZL, this time arriving in "Bottle Green".

Having looked at plenty of archival classics for inspiration, the LG2 ended up being a brand-new design, though it took a lot of inspiration from the adidas Barrington Smash. This new "Bottle Green" LG2 SPZL colourway follows the same design cues as its predecessor, though that pair arrived in shades of chalk and white, whereas this pair features a pop of green and a gum outsole, making this a timeless take on the classic-style silhouette.

Previewed by Aspden himself over on Instagram, Liam Gallagher is also shown wearing a custom-made smock, which Aspden says is not part of the collection.
