Football fans, rejoice! After what seems like an eternity, the Premier League will finally return this Friday as Burnley takes on current reigning champs Man City! As with the start of every new season, we've seen a heavy influx of fresh new kits, so naturally, we're here to rank them.
With the worlds of football and fashion becoming closer each year, teams are starting to step their game up, so the competition has never been closer. Starting with the home kits, we're counting down from 20 to crown a true champion, so keep reading to see which kit we're feeling the most this season.
Sorry Fulham fans, but this isn't the one. Some things are better left in the mid-noughties, and unfortunately, this kit is one of them. Opposing colours on the shoulders make this one look like a Microsoft paint job, which is a shame considering the colour palette has the potential to be great.
You would have thought with their introduction to the Premier League, Luton might have pushed the boat out a bit, but alas, here we are. While it isn't terrible, besides the colour, there's not an awful lot to shout home about here.
As a Villa fan, writing this is painful, but we can't help but feel AVFC has missed the mark this year. While the new logo and overlaid pattern work lovely together, things are spoilt somewhat by that horrible bright-yellow betting sponsor. If the logo was a bit more subtle, we could have been on for a winner here.
Say goodbye to the zigzag from last season and hello to normality! Bournemouth is back and returning to its old ways. This time around, thicker black stripes decorate the Cherries' home kit. Objectively, this is a very nice kit, the only reason it's this far down is because we feel like we've seen it all before.
Sponsors can really make or break a kit, and this latest Brentford addition is a prime example of that. With thicker stripes, a tasteful gradient and bold colouring, this Brentford kit has all the makings to be a great shirt. The only issue is that unsightly sponsor on the chest.
No, this isn't a Barcelona kit or a replica of AFC Wimbledon's from Ted Lasso, this is, in fact, Crystal Palace's new home kit. Spiderman-esque in its appearance, this kit embraces its half-and-half exterior to create a real marmite-like finish. Personally, we're fans, we just think it might be a nightmare to pair with the rest of our wardrobes.
There's nothing wrong with playing it safe, but can you play it too safe? By all appearances, Manchester City's latest home kit is a stunner, but we can't help but feel there's not a lot to it. Marking 20 years since the club moved to the Etihad, this shirt features a subtle turret graphic on the front. One for anyone who prefers simplistic kits.
There's one way to describe this latest Burnley kit: a modern classic. Complete with a contrasting collar, sleeves, and a large crest, this kit is a nod to shirts of the past. The only thing that might let it down in some people's eyes is the massive betting sponsor.
Simple but effective. Paying tribute to 50 years since Bill Shankly left the Reds, this Liverpool F.C. home kit isn't flashy, but we're not mad about it. With lighter red accents than usual and a contrasting white hue, you can't be mad about this one.
Providing that clean slate Tottenham needs both figuratively and metaphorically, this latest kit is a massive improvement on last year's volt-tinted addition. With a clean white base hue and navy detailing, this one is about as clean as the plainer kits come.
While most of us would likely prefer shirts with no sponsor, it's crazy just how much of a difference a good one makes. Ditching the in-your-face FUN88 addition from last year, Newcastle United has now embraced Saudi entertainment company Sela as its latest sponsor, in turn creating a clean-cut kit that's rumoured to be its last with Castore.
We know what you're thinking: 'Wolves this high up?' but bear with us here. Keeping the club's identity alive, this kit sports vibrant colouring, a classic collar and contrasting details, making it nothing short of a winner. Safe? Sure, but you can't deny the style here.
Marking their return to the big leagues in style, Sheffield United's last shirt ditches the gold-lined shirt from last year and embraces bold stripes complete with black linings. As it stands, the kit features no main sponsor after its deal with Randox expired, and honestly, we think it should stay that way.
Classy, vintage and timeless, can this Everton kit really get much better? Arriving with a tasteful blue hue, patterned collar and sleeves and contrasting details, this kit is arguably one of the Toffees' best efforts in years.
You pretty much know what you're getting with each Forest kit, but with that said, you can't knock them. Contemporary in its form, the latest Forest addition is a minimalist's dream. With adidas' classic 3-Stripe signature atop the shoulders, and the club's red hue at the base, this one is a winner.
At first glance, conference League title holder West Ham's new kit might look boring, but that is until you notice the bubbles, of course! With a tonal bubble pattern found at the base, this kit offers something a bit different. In addition, a sponsorless version is available too, so what's not to love?
Designed as a homage to the 2003/04 shirt, this latest Arsenal home kit is an absolute gem. Referencing the club's "Invincibles" season, gold detailing can be found alongside the famed red and white hues. Finished with the "Invincibles" record down the side, this should be one on every Gunner's radar.
No matter your thoughts on the club, it's tough to knock a Brighton kit, isn't it? Arriving in a similar fashion to last season's strip, Brighton & Hove Albion has ditched the yellow accents and added some extra vertical stripes, resulting in a revitalised home addition.
After last year's polarising addition, the only way was up for Manchester United, and needless to say, the club has delivered. With a tasteful rose pattern at the base, this kit delivers an elevated aesthetic while staying true to the club's famed heritage. Intricate and eye-catching, this kit is a must-have for any United fan!
This might come as a surprise, but things don't really get much better for us than Chelsea's latest home kit. Taking things back to the '90s, this kit sports a gorgeous blue hue, white and gold trims around the sleeves, and at the present moment, no sponsor. The shirt isn't available just yet, likely due to the lack of a sponsor, but we can't help but feel it would be so much more popular with fans if they kept it without.
