After finding a second wind towards the end of this Premier League season, Liverpool FC has readied its brand-new 23/24 home kit, inspired by the legendary Bill Shankly’s last season in charge of the Reds 50 years ago. Reimaging an iconic design, this signature kit comes packed with thoughtful details.
The classic design sees Liverpool FC's iconic red hue contrasted by white sleeve and neck details. Atop the chest, we see the Nike Swoosh logo as well as Liverpool FC's famed Liver bird emblem. At the rear of the neck, the 97-emblem encased by the eternal flames sits proudly at the nape, paying tribute to the 97 men, women and children who tragically lost their lives in the 1989 Hillsborough disaster.
Liverpool's current all-star squad will debut this kit at the final home game of the season against Unai Emery's surging Aston Villa. Coincidentally, this game will be Anfield’s final game in front of 54,000 before 7,000 more seats are added once the stadium expansion is complete. The kit is available to purchase now, either directly from kit sponsor Nike or at the Liverpool FC web store and retail locations.
