After launching somewhat of a peculiar collaboration with stakeholder and NBA superstar Lebron James, Liverpool FC seems intent to continue on with its collaborative efforts this year. After taking to Instagram for the announcement, Liverpool FC x Converse have now released an upcoming look at their latest efforts, with the collection set to champion creativity and diversity within the club's fanbase.
A total of nine pieces have been readied for launch, each arriving with co-signed signatures from both parties. From an apparel perspective, varsity jackets, polos, tees, shorts, track tops, and tracksuit bottoms all make an appearance, decorated in a mix of red, white, and beige hues. The standout piece is the varsity jacket, a heritage piece with nods to the 1984 European Cup final where Liverpool FC beat Roma on penalties.
Alongside the apparel, we see two of Converse's most revered silhouettes get the Liverpool treatment. Both the iconic Chuck 70 high top and the Run Star Hike arrive decorated in Liver bird graphics and "YNWA" signatures. For any fans of The Reds looking to get their hands on this collaboration, it will launch on April 6th via Liverpool FC's website. In other fashion news, rumors of a Nike SB x Carhartt collaboration have emerged.
