While the fashion world still mourns the untimely death of Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton has now revealed his final works with the brand. Virgil Abloh’s Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2022 Men's Collection showcases a range of both stylish and playful silhouettes, all of which arrive with a distinct Virgil Abloh touch.
After being named Artistic Director for Menswear at Louis Vuitton back in 2018, Virgil Abloh quickly went on to create some of the Parisian fashion house's most notable collections of late. This latest collection is no different and still plays on Virgil Abloh's "boyhood ideology" that combines streetwear, workwear and formalwear together harmoniously.
Throughout the collection itself, we see an expansive range of clothing, footwear and accessories featuring familiar signatures such as the LV Monogram pattern and the house's classic "Damier" pattern.
Elsewhere, new signatures arrive including a range of veiled beekeeper-styled hats and graffiti styled prints and imagery by the artist Ghusto Leon. The house noted the full collection was completed and photographed to Virgil's standard before he passed on November 28th.
It's going to be a little while until the collection is released but we have no doubts it's going to be highly sought-after. In related news, here's why Kanye West at Louis Vuitton just might make perfect sense.
