Originally launched in 2001, Reebok’s “It’s a Woman’s World” campaign looked to inspirational female figures like Missy Elliott, Venus Williams and Jennifer Azzi to challenge the cultural and gender stereotypes of women – and now the campaign is back with the Distortedd x Reebok Instapump Fury!
Distortedd’s take on the Instapump Fury is bold, dynamic and finished with “girly” hues. The visual artist has adorned the side of the shoe with a striking graphic that’s inspired by graffiti, childhood cartoons, skate culture and the underground art scene in her hometown of Philly. Soft tones of pink and lavender come in patches on the heel and toe and this shoe is nicely rounded off with a semi-transparent purple outsole.
With all the details of the original silhouette still intact, this Instapump Fury iteration is perhaps the most covetable we’ve seen in a while and it celebrates the power of strong women across the globe. What more could you ask for?
