In recent years Nike has been no stranger to using cultural icons to drive its campaigns, products and brand awareness. With a long list of collaborations with Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Drake and many more, it comes as no surprise American rapper and songwriter Megan Thee Stallion would be next up for this latest "Play New" campaign.
For this latest campaign, Megan Thee Stallion does a deep dive into her fitness journey & regime and encourages fans of the brand to take pride in their individual sports. “Performing is my sport. Rapping is my sport. And if you think this don’t take no work and no effort and no sweat, you’re wrong.” noted the 26-year-old Houston Texas native.
To inspire her supporters and fans of the Nike brand, Megan has partnered with Nike trainer Tara Nicholas to record several workouts for the Nike Training Club app. With the workouts being pretty intense, Megan says “It’s realistic for you to want to give up.
