Boston-based sporting goods New Balance did not fail to deliver some of the best sneaker releases in 2021, and this year is not an exception either. One of the silhouettes we've seen from the label that gained incredible traction is the retro 2002R, notably through a few collaborations and eye-catching designs like the "Rain Cloud" colourway. With that said, dedicated shoe collectors will be pleased to hear that the highly coveted New Balance 2002R "Protection Pack" is returning in more colourways!
Also dubbed the "Refined Future" pack, the ensemble sees a deconstructed design comprised of fuzzy suede overlays stacked atop each other and exposed foam lining. Yue Wu, who designed the outfit, introduced it in three colourways last year. But this time, five new renditions have surfaced.
In addition to the "Navy" and "Grey" pairs we brought to you earlier this month, a vibrant trio has been added to the line-up: "Orange", "Pink", and "Purple", all of which accommodate lighter shades of its titular hue. These New Balance trainers are complete with classic NB branding details.
