adidas Originals YUNG-1
'I couldn't write a list without including the three stripes, even though I wasn't happy with the name change and the long time it took to finally reach us I'm a massive fan the Yung-1 especially in it's OG orange colour way, these are bright, in your face and should be in every Adidas collection.'
Nike Air Max 95 What The Safari - size? Exclusive
'size? took no quarter when it released the "What The Safari?” - I feel like the 1's will make quite a few end of the year lists but the second part of the pack, the 95 is just as good and will make a nice companion to the KSSR 95 dropping very soon.'
PUMA RS-0
'We all know Puma has it's ups and downs at the moment but it's recent RS-0 surprised me and has popped up in my rotation regularly, I only mess with the OG colour way at the moment but let's see what happens, I know theres strong support from Puma on the model so fingers crossed theres something decent the way.'
Nike Huarache Run '91
'I'll grab a lot of stick for this but if you don't rate the Huarache then you and me need to have words, completely rinsed a few years back but still an absolute gem in the Nike Archive - I've always found them more of a winter shoe as the neoprene sock hugs the foot in such a way that it holds the heat, the recent spree of retro's have honestly been some of Nike's best work with materials, colours and quality top notch.'
New Balance 990 - Made in the USA
'The connoisseurs choice and for those that have a little more coin rolling around in the pockets, the 99X series from New Balance has never been cheap but these are pairs that will last you years, an investment if you will. You could argue that the 990 was the original Dad/Chunky shoe, thus making these a lot cooler than all the cash-in's and wannabes that came after it.'
Nike Air Max Speed Turf
'This would be my guilty pleasure from the list, along with the Diamond Turf, these NFL training kicks aren't popular over here but if you're looking for something different with some insane lockdown then look no further.'
