The New Balance 550 fit pretty snug, I have a narrower foot so I went for true to size but if you have wide feet I'd highly advise you to go a half size up to get the best fit.

They're pretty comfortable, New Balance always seems to nail the comfort! Plus, they started as a basketball shoe so I'm sure that comfort was considered from the start anyway.

I usually style my New Balance 550s with baggy lighter wash jeans, a white t-shirt paired with a plaid shirt or overshirt on top.

With the New Balance 550, I would always say to go true to size. I know they can fit a little narrow for some people but I’m happy with how they fit.

The 550 is not the most comfortable silhouette from New Balance but it can definitely still be worn everyday. If I was going out for a day of walking, I’d probably choose the New Balance 990 or New Balance 992 over the 550s.

With the New Balance 550 being a retro basketball sneaker, they go well with a lot of my daily outfits. I usually wear them with a casual and comfortable outfit. My go-to choice with these is a pair of joggers and a simple t-shirt.

My favourite has got to be the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 550 "Natural Green", it’s such a classic and easy to wear colourway.

I have wide feet, so I've gone half a size up and they fit perfectly. Otherwise, you can go TTS and they'll fit fine and the leather stretches over time anyway.

I expected insane comfort on these, but when I finally had them on my feet, they weren't anything crazy. I'd prefer to wear my SNS x New Balance 920 "Orange Green" for a long day walk.

They're traditionally built with perforated leather overlays, making them slightly stiff at first but comfortably stretches the more you wear them. If you have narrow feet, then going true to size shouldn't be a problem, otherwise, go 0.5 up in size.
