This year, it seems like we can’t turn our heads without another luxury fashion x sportswear collab popping up, but back in 2000 when the Reebok Instapump Fury was designed in collaboration with Chanel it shook the industry. One of the most exclusive pairs in the world, the Chanel iteration featured in their runway show but was never produced for consumers. The pairs worn in the show were given away to the brand’s friends and so they’re virtually impossible to get your hands on.
Luckily, Reebok is due to drop a brand-new line of the Instapump Fury. Designed in a similar colourway to the original silhouette, sporty white mesh dominates the upper and is super breathable – so you stay cool and comfortable all day. Grey overlays reinforce the structure of the shoe and add extra texture and Reebok’s signature branding can be found on the tongue and sides.
Comfortable and functional thanks to a carbon fibre midfoot plate and heel-loaded DMX cushioning, they’re designed by specialists to deliver optimised support and bounce. Reminiscent of the chunky trainer trend, they’ll wear best with crisp tailoring or your favourite tracksuit.
Rumoured to drop in late December at select Japanese retailers, keep an eye on The Sole Supplier to be the first to know when the Reebok Instapump Fury can be copped in the UK.
