After joining forces for two drops in summer last year, NIGO x Virgil Abloh are both back with yet another LV² collection for Louis Vuitton. This collection features western-inspired tailoring from the 50s and 60s matched with Japanese spurred influences to create a selection of luxury looks.
Based upon a variety of British subcultural silhouettes, this collection highlights an abundance of familiar Louis Vuitton and NIGO created signatures including LV's famed monogram print and NIGO's playful tiger and heart designs.
Standout pieces from the collection include a selection of striped and colour-blocked blazers, leather and denim suits with LV monogram prints and striking check printed knits. Alongside the vast variety of clothing, an excess of stylish accessories have been created all with Japanese inspired bags, tiger-printed briefcases and luxury travel-ready holdalls all on offer.
From a colour palette perspective, the duo has combined a variety of Louis Vuitton's famed neutral hues with a selection of intrepid pops of colour we've all come to expect from NIGO. The result is a collection of clothing that lends itself to year-round wear and styling.
We're unsure at this point when the collection is due to release, but as always with Louis Vuitton, you may need to raid your piggy bank for this one. In related news, is an Off-White x Liverpool FC collab in the works?
