After debuting its latest "Move To Zero" collection back in March, Nike is back and ready to further its sustainability efforts. This latest "Re-Creation" programme aims to advance Nike's full circle vision in an attempt to make the brand more and more eco-conscious
According to Nike, this latest programme aims to "locally collects vintage and deadstock pieces, using them to create new locally designed and manufactured products.” The first drop of the collection will feature a range of fleece hoodies and crewnecks, with each bearing nods to LA's rich sporting culture and history.
The restoration process is extensive, with dyeing, patterning, screen-printing and decorative stitching all done manually to ensure maximum quality and craftsmanship. The pieces themselves are a range of retro silhouettes with the "Move To Zero" pinwheel logo featured aplenty. Shades of navy, blue, black, grey, yellow, red and white decorate each piece respectively, offering a year-round approach to both layering and styling.
For those looking to get their hands on this Nike "Re-Creation" collection, it will drop exclusively at the brand's The Grove Booth, but keep your eyes peeled for future releases. In other fashion news, OBEY x Russell Athletic embrace the varsity trend with this latest collection.
