There's nothing more frustrating than receiving the "Your entry wasn't selected" message on the SNKRS app while you see your closest friends flexing their "GOT EM" screenshots in all their social media accounts. Since 2018, Nike's SNKRS app has been home to all sneakerheads across the globe for securing the hottest releases and collabs from the Swoosh team.
However, many users say that its first-come, first-serve system that has been active since its launch is not so successful after all. Therefore, the Beaverton sportswear brand has announced a new draw system that will result in higher success rates.
In addition, the new SNKRS Pass update will also incorporate a more reliable bot-prevention mechanism. In a press conference release, Nike also stated: "Our goal is to create experiences that are less stressful and more convenient, and we’re confident this new layer of bot-filtration, facilitated by the ‘Draw,’ will allow for more Members like you to reserve your most sought-after pairs.”
“We will be slowly rolling out this new version of Pass throughout the coming weeks. To ensure that you’re able to access this newest version of SNKRS Pass, please update your app to the most current version,” the company added.
