If you are not aware, the initial design of the Nike Air Max 1 was created by Tinker Hatfield in 1987 and was inspired by the iconic gallery in Paris, The Pompidou Centre. Known for it's inside-out design, this made Tinker put the first ever exposed Air Unit on a sneaker. Fast-forward to 2019 and Nike have taken the reverse look to a whole new level with the Nike Air Max 1 'Inside-Out'.
Giving off a hand-crafted aesthetic, every panel of this iconic sneaker has been reversed. With exposed stitching and premium materials aplenty, the reverse branding on the heel counter helps to set this sneaker apart from the rest. Coming in a Sail/Grey iteration as well as a Tom Sachs'esque Brown/Grey/Red colourway, these simplistic tones allow the exceptional detail to truly stand out.
The Nike Air Max 1 'Inside Out' has no confirmed release date as of yet but expect it to be one of the biggest launches of 2019. Keep it locked to The Sole Supplier for all of the best news and releases from the sneaker community.
