Nike X Maria Sharapova's LA Cortez Is Effortlessly Chic In Pink

Nike's latest rendition of their signature Cortez exudes classic LA glamour.

In collaboration with tennis legend and California resident Maria Sharapova, the LA Cortez is dressed in a chic pink/nude hue with gold accents appearing at the rear and midsole.

Sharapova recently described the idyllic concept behind this sneaker and her love of the City of Angels.

The Wimbledon champion explained, "I was inspired by my morning walks along the coast on my way to practice, and I think we captured that peaceful essence in this shoe.";

Crafted in premium suede and leather overlays, this sneaker's flawless aesthetic promises to reflect the luxurious feel of Los Angeles.

The Nike x Maria Sharapova LA Cortez also features a delicately embossed Swoosh and designer perforations across the upper, giving a custom feel to the silhouette.

Sharapova has discussed her appreciation of the shoe's "minimal and understated"; appearance, praising Nike's "attention to detail with the finishes, materials and even colour.";

There's no doubt that the LA Cortez is made for Spring/Summer 2018, and is a must-have for fans of fashion-forward footwear.
