Arriving later this month is a limited edition capsule of Air Jordans, edited by Vogue and inspired by Anna Wintour herself.
First shown to the public through a video of Wintour behind her desk; the video shows Wintour adding AWOK (an acronym for "Anna Wintour Okay";), the ultimate sign of approval, on a pile of papers… Between shooting hoops very casually in her office.

The little acronym is being brought forward into this project, shining through in the video and also on the details of the sneakers. AWOK has been stamped in the rubber of the soles and also as branding on the heels of the sneakers.
There will be 2 different models, the Air Jordan 3 SE and the Air Jordan 1, both reimagined in 2 different colourways. One in a sleek leather hues while the others, in tweed, gives nods towards Wintour's Chanel tweed suits and sunglasses.
The AJ1 High Zip AWOK will be available on 21st July at Hirshleifers, Kith, Nordstrom x Nike and North America Jumpman Doors (306 Yonge in Toronto and 32 South State in Chicago) as well as on SNKRS app on 23rd July in North America. The AJIII AWOK will be available on September 7th.
