Nike's Air More Uptempo Mutates Into A Sneaker Boot Hybrid

There's a definite January chill in the air which might just persuade some of us to swap out our favourite trainers for an ankle covering alternative.

Fortunately, Nike's new Airquent shoe provides a perfect amalgamation of the two, uniting the comfort of a sneaker with the cosiness of a boot.

Arriving in winter-ready Burgundy Crush and Black colourways, this silhouette is a hybrid rendition of the Air More Uptempo, complete with the sneaker's statement "AIR"; logo.

The upper features a sock-like knit fabric, which extends towards the ankle to form a snug trend-focussed collar, while a unique visible Air infused midsole provides expert cushioning under foot.

A patent mudguard also adds contrast at the toe and heel, aiming to protect your feet from the season's unpredictable weather conditions.

Completing the mutated sneaker boot is a classic mini Swoosh, which is embroidered into the collar in matching hues.
