With more and more photos of the KITH x Nike Air Force 1 "University Red" surfacing here and there, we're now taking an official look at the high heat collab. The brainchild of American fashion designer Ronnie Fieg, this clean pair was first spotted on his favourite sneaker magazine, SHOES MASTER, earlier this year.
Working on the classic "Triple White" colour scheme that's been making waves since the early '80s, the KITH AF1 is crafted from some of the finest leather the silhouette has ever seen. Luxury satin dresses the inner lining for an ultra premium aesthetic, while a complementary Nike Swoosh shoots across the lateral toe.
Along the lateral and medial side panels you'll find KITH box logo monogramming just to emphasise the hyped partnership, and the heel is embroidered with "KITH" stylised in the classic "Nike" font. A Japanese flag-inspired tag graces the tongue, and to round off the Air Force 1, the Air midsole has been given a slightly discoloured look, resulting in a vintage aesthetic that is sure to turn heads.
Early rumours suggested that the KITH x Nike Air Force 1 "University Red" will be exclusive to Japan, but these have yet to be officially confirmed. Scheduled to launch very soon, make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier if you want a pair in your daily rotation! If these aren't your cup of tea, it looks like more KITH x Nike Air Force 1s are on the way!
