Official images have surfaced of the newly invigorated Nike Air VaporMax 2021: a fresh take on the Nike Air VaporMax 2020, ready to take the rest of 2021 by storm. Whilst it is clear there are many similarities between the 2020 VaporMax model and the 2021 silhouette (because why fix something that ain't broke?), there are a few differences definitely worth noting.

The FlyEase system in place of the laces has been removed in favour of a traditional lace unit, making for an arguably less cumbersome upper. The rest of the body of this sneaker, however, remains very close to the 2020 style, with the addition of a bright-pink Swoosh dressing the medial and lateral sidewalls. The Flyknit upper comes in a chic, grey colouring, allowing the blue and pink detailing around the lace unit to pop. Neon-green takes the place of the former marble-effect panelling across the toe cap, heel, and around the back of the upper. Corresponding to the embroidered Swooshes, neon-pink pull tags can be found on the tongue and the heel, ensuring that these Nike runners give you the best fit possible.

The lightweight, easy-to-wear Nike Air Unit remains how it was on the 2020 edition of this VaporMax sneaker, allowing an excellent fit and alert responsiveness to your foot's movement, whatever the activity. Rainbow-coloured, confetti-like detailing is interspersed throughout the icy outsole, once again adding an extra pop of pizazz to this shoe.
