First teased at the end of January, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Bart Simpson” has been eagerly-awaited by plenty of sneaker fans across the globe, as the pair is the third in a series of kicks that pay homage to the famous TV family. Along with 2004s Nike SB Dunk Low “Homer” and 2008s Nike SB Dunk High “Marge”, these brightly-coloured kicks resemble Bart Simpson and his iconic outfit.
Decked out in yellow, orange, blue and white, plenty of different fabrics are used across the uppers including suede, leather and athletic mesh. Classic Dunk panelling makes an appearance, reminding us just how legendary the silhouette is, while Nike Swoosh logos are placed on both the lateral and medial sides in white leather.
Other notable details include a perforated toe box, Nike SB branding on the tongues and typeface logos embroidered onto the heels. Plenty of padding is located across the ankles and tongues, ensuring that these are more than capable of providing enough support for skateboarding. Underfoot, a white midsole conceals an optimised cushioning unit while a pale-blue outsole rounds off the look.
If you’re looking to get your hands on this upcoming release, you’ll have to stay tuned for more details as we don’t have an official release date just yet.
