The “Banned” version of the Jordan 1 is back, albeit in a Low version. Back when the shoe dropped with a giant “x” on the heel in 2011, people weren’t completely sold. Throwback discussions mention the OG high hitting outlets, being scooped up for as low as $60. Then during the lockdown years, people revered this ‘Banned’ version, with resell prices soaring for the retro. Now, Jordan brand is here to answer the demands of sneakerheads, but is it too late for the Air Jordan 1? We’ll have to see on launch day.

The Three-Stripes have finally come out with a Mule version of its iconic Samba. From an objective standpoint they are pretty clean, giving fans of the low profile look yet another option for summer. But is it too little too late from adidas? The Samba has had its moment in the spotlight, so can this Mule version give it some much needed stage time? We’ll keep an eye out and let you know.

A Bathing APE and Crocs are uniting forces again on a triple Clog capsule. This time the two have opted for the more chunky Echo Clog, using the brand’s signature camo to give this project an unmistakably BAPE look. The original Classic Clog pack has since sold out, so you can expect more of the same with this release.

Minted NYC is proving just what a running-centric brand with an active community is capable of. Having already sold out two collaborations with Saucony on the Endorphin Speed 4 and ProGrid Triumph 4, all bets are on this upcoming release getting the same amount of traction. These are getting a global release on May 21st via the saucony.com website, so set a release reminder for any future updates.

AP and Swatch are coming out with a collaboration that is about to set the watch world ablaze. We haven’t even seen official images of the time piece and there are people already queuing outside of Swatch retailers. Much like the world of sneakers, the watch world is willing to go above and beyond to have the right ticker on their wrist. Not to mention that for many, this will be the first and only serious time they’ve considered owning an AP. If you’re going after this, we are wishing you the best of luck!

Tion Wayne pulled up to “The Art of Possibility” at the Saatchi Gallery, a new exhibition celebrating the Emirates FA Cup and Adobe Women’s FA Cup. Across three galleries, the showcase dives into 150 years of cup culture through art, photography, archive footage and immersive experiences. Work from 12 artists highlights some of the competition’s most iconic moments while looking ahead to the future of the game. The event takes place across 9th and 10th May, with a special Adobe Women’s FA Cup watchalong also happening in the gallery.

As football becomes a bigger part of the global zeitgeist, everyone is now wanting to be a part of the beautiful game. We thought Travis Scott had set the bar for celebrity fan turn outs, but that might have just changed with Olivia Rodrigo’s turning up at Camp Nou. Snapping up a photo with boy wonder Lamine Yamal, we can expect the two to make a couple of appearances at this year’s World Cup tournament…in very different ways of course, although I have heard she’s got mean right foot.

It’s no secret that Vans is on a hot streak, with new colourways of classic silhouettes being exactly what sneakerheads are after. The Souvenir Old Skool in particular did a lot of heavy lifting to bring the skater back into conversation, with high resell prices being a result of even higher demand. Now Vans is dropping another version of the Souvenir in this “Oatmeal” colourway, so best set your release reminders early for this one.
