Paying respects to the legendary "freeze-out" which apparently happened during the 1985 All-Star Game, the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 High "Chicago" is one of the most special AJ1s ever made in the silhouette's four decade long history. Made in collaboration with Michael Jordan's son Marcus, more specifically his sneaker and apparel boutique that established back in 2016, we're now taking our best look yet!
Based off the iconic "Chicago", the Trophy Room Air Jordan 1 works on a clean white base with red and black leather panels throughout that have been weatherised for a vintage look. A black Swoosh shoots across the side panels, while MJ's signature is scrawled on the lateral heel for an authentic look.
Underneath the Nike Air midsole is an icy blue outsole that's inspired by the rumoured "freeze-out" that occurred in '85, and accompanying the shoe is a "ticket" that nods to the event, complete with an explanation on the back.
Expected to be limited to just 12,000 pairs, each Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 High "Chicago" will be individually numbers for added exclusivity. Let us know what you think of this coveted collaboration, and while you're here, you might as well check out the Air Jordan 1 Switch "Purple Pulse" in action!
