Just when you thought exclusive sneaker drops were reserved for superheroes like Spider-Man, Timothée Chalamet's forthcoming Wonka film is stepping into the spotlight. Teaming up with the iconic Swoosh label and Warner Bros., Chalamet has curated his own take on the sought-after Nike Dunk Low silhouette, infusing it with a distinctive Wonka-inspired flair.
Ahead of the film's release on the 15th of December, Chalamet has personally spearheaded the design of this latest colourway, delivering a total of just five individual pairs. White canvas decorates the upper of this colourway, eccentricly contrasted by a Willy Wonka-themed colour palette. Splashes of blue, burgundy and purple occupy the toe box and walls, backed up by a deep burgundy hue that mirrors Wonka's coat on the laces, collar and Swoosh.
The Swoosh itself seems to flaunt a distressed finish, while the laces sport a velvety aesthetic. Final details arrive in the form of Wonka's "W" emblem atop the tongue. With just five pairs on offer, getting your hands on this shoe isn't going to be simple. To be in with a chance, participants must post a video on social media showcasing their Wonka-inspired art, fashion, style, décor, food or gaming and include the "#WonkaPureImaginationContest” hashtag.
